Lonely June post!

Here's my one and only post in June! Summer has been crazy since I started my job at MSIP in Vermillion! I've been to Brookings and Sioux City more times in the past 4 weeks that I have ever in my life! I have 7 kids that are a part of my "Diamondback" family group. We have a lot of fun together, and they also test me and push me out of my comfort zone quite regularly which is great for me! I've learned a lot about Native American culture through this experience and dealing with racial reconciliation in general. I have some amazing co-workers that I have a lot of fun with! I wouldn't change this experience for anything! I know I will feel a void in my life when I move home on July 10.
In other news, my sister is safely in Australia now eating Kangaroo for dinner (seriously) and taking pictures with Koalas. She starts school in Victoria soon. My brother is fine from what I hear, he's always fishing so nobody sees him all that often! Mom and Dad are great as well.
Here's a headline: I OWN A HOUSE! It's a little duplex garden home on Buttermilk street in Tuscaloosa, Alabama! It has a spare bedroom currently so if anyone's ever in the south, give me a call! I recieve payment for room and board in chocolate! More news and pictures to come in July! Happy 4th everyone!
